Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou

The Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou is located at No. 389, Tianhe Road, Tianhe District, adjacent to the Taikoo Li business district and seamlessly connected to the Shipaiqiao Station of Metro Line 3, occupying a prime location in the core area of Guangzhou's CBD. As a classic work of the design master Ji Yutang's "one hotel per city" strategy, the hotel combines the Oriental elegance hidden in the city with modern modernity. The exterior facade features dark wood and cream gray tones. The interior is designed with an asymmetrical layout, art installations (such as Shi Jin Song's "Spiritual Tree", Kim Byung-jin's "Melon" folding fan installation, and Tan Yanyu's "Facial Mask" fan), and Lingnan elements (such as the Guangxiu pattern screen) to create an immersive space with a new scene at every step. In 2024, it was rated as a Forbes five-star hotel.

The 233 guest rooms and 30 suites range in size from 60 to 240 square meters, with a starting area of up to 60 square meters, exceeding the standards of luxury hotels in the same area. The guest room design abandons the traditional symmetrical aesthetic and adopts the philosophical concept of "Yin and Yang, softness and hardness" - a double basin layout, an independent walk-in closet, a circular immersion bathtub and a rainforest shower system jointly form a spa-level bathroom space, equipped with Italian Frette bedding, Bose audio system, Nespresso coffee machine and Hansgrohe rainforest showerhead. The Wenhua Suite features a 270-degree city view terrace and offers exclusive privileges of the Oriental Club Executive Lounge (including all-day dining, cocktail hours and dedicated butler service). The children's themed guest rooms are equipped with panda-themed bedding and custom toys, demonstrating humanistic care in every detail.

The dining space can be called a "Michelin-starred chef feast" : The two-Michelin-starred restaurant "Chef Jiang Youhui" has been awarded two stars for five consecutive years and is renowned for its creative Cantonese dishes such as black truffle baked chicken and crab roe Xiaolongbao. Yueboni Restaurant is about to complete its renovation and upgrade. Under the guidance of two-Michelin-starred chef Huang Jinghui, it integrates the essence of eight major cuisines. The open kitchen and panoramic floor-to-ceiling Windows bring the greenery of the outdoors into the interior. The Loft Bar houses over 200 single malt whiskies and regularly holds tasting events. Wen Hua Bakery has become a popular spot in the city with its handmade chocolates and seasonal limited afternoon tea. The executive lounge "Oriental Club" is located on the 41st floor and offers round-the-clock service from breakfast to late-night snacks. The cocktail menu is rich and the meals are exquisite.

The recreational facilities include a 25-meter indoor heated swimming pool (with a glass curtain wall design, allowing you to enjoy the city view while swimming), a 24-hour Tenojian equipment gym, a spa center (combining traditional Chinese massage and aromatherapy), and a sauna and steam room. The hotel implements a sustainable environmental protection policy. It does not proactively provide disposable plastic products in guest rooms and is equipped with anti-virus cleaning supplies. Within a three-kilometer radius, there are attractions such as Zhengjia Polar Ocean World, Canton Tower, and Guangdong Provincial Museum. It is within walking distance of Taikoo Li Shopping Center, meeting the needs of shopping and cultural exploration.

  • Near by Canton Tower

As a luxurious landmark jointly developed by The Ritz-Carlton Group and R&F Properties, the hotel opened in 2008 and completed a partial renovation in 2021. It was designed by the American WAT G. The architectural firm collaborated with the HBA interior design team to create a seamless blend of European classicism and Lingnan Oriental aesthetics. The facade features a self-cleaning terracotta window lattice system, paying tribute to traditional Lingnan craftsmanship. The lobby is decorated in a beige tone, with grayish-green soft furnishings and Turkish jade floors. It is complemented by crystal chandeliers and a Suzhou garden-style atrium design, creating an elegant space with a new scene at every step.
  • Near by Canton Tower

As the first W brand hotel on the Chinese mainland, it was jointly created by design master Yabu Pushelberg and architect Yan Xunqi, with the design language of "future trendy luxury" - the exterior facade integrates self-cleaning terracotta window lattices and traditional Lingnan patterns, and the 20-meter-high lobby space is paired with brown glass screens and LED waterfall water curtains, creating an immersive experience of "one scene at every step". The WOOBAR bar with a suspended bird's nest design, the reflecting water ripple swimming pool logo and the purple theme color run through the entire area, interpreting the core concept of W brand: "Exciting, unique and wonderful".
  • Near by Canton Tower

As the 37th Park Hyatt hotel in the world and the 6th in China, its exterior facade is as dynamic as a "flying dragon", while the interior interprets the essence of Lingnan architecture with materials such as blue bricks, raw wood, and metal. The 5.5-meter-high conical wood carving art installation in the lobby was created by sculptor Masayoshi Kawamata. The open kitchen and panoramic floor-to-ceiling Windows of the Yuejingxuan Chinese Restaurant on the 68th floor form an immersive experience of "cloud view". The 70th floor open-air bar, with its 270-degree night view of the Pearl River and the landmark view of Canton Tower, has become one of the "tallest rooftop bars in China".
