Bulgari Hotel Shanghai

Bulgari Hotel Shanghai

The Bulgari Hotel Shanghai is located at No. 33, North Henan Road, Jing 'an District, occupying a prime location on the Bund skyline. It is within walking distance of the Bund's international architectural complex and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. The hotel was designed by Italian architect Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, deeply integrating the brilliant aesthetics of Bvlgari jewelry with the Shanghai-style culture of Shanghai. The exterior facade is composed of Venetian Murano glass and Calamari gold marble, resembling a jewelry box by the Huangpu River, and is even more dazzling when the lights are turned on at night. The 2,000-piece hand-blown glass chandeliers hanging from the lobby dome, inspired by Bulgari's antique jewelry, have become the visual focus of "a new scene at every step".
All 400 guest rooms and suites are equipped with Bvlgari custom furniture, Italian Frette bedding and intelligent temperature control systems. Some room types have 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling Windows, offering a view of the "three treasures" of the Huangpu River (Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center and Jin MAO Tower) and the century-old buildings along the Bund. The bathroom is paved with Karamari gold marble, featuring an independent bathtub with a floor heating system. It is complemented by Bulgari's exclusive fragrance and 500-weave high-count cotton bedding, creating an immersive and luxurious bathing experience. The hand-painted decorative painting "Four Seasons of the Bund" hanging by the bedside and the old Shikumen yogurt in the mini bar blend the memories of Shanghai style and Italian romance in the details.
Il Ristorante - Niko Romito, a one-star Michelin Italian restaurant, is managed by renowned chef Niko Romito. It specializes in the "Italian Feast" series, featuring handcrafted ravioli with black truffles and slow-cooked veal with red wine sauce. The open kitchen offers a live performance of Italian culinary art by the chef team. The Chinese restaurant, Baoli Xuan, is run by Cantonese cuisine master Leung Siu Kei. It has launched a "Taste of the Bund" menu, featuring black truffle Roast duck with caviar and crab roe xiaolongbao with vinegar jelly. The Lobby bar offers classic Bvlgari afternoon tea, with desserts such as chocolate hazelnut cake decorated in jewelry shapes and savory treats like foie gras with champagne jelly, making it a social destination for Shanghai's celebrities.
The hotel specially offers a "Jewelry Art Experience Officer" service, allowing you to book Bvlgari antique jewelry exhibitions, guided Tours of the Bund architecture, and intangible cultural heritage handicraft courses such as gold leaf painting and porcelain restoration. The spa features 8 treatment rooms, combining Bulgari's exclusive gemstone therapies (such as jade massage and pearl skin rejuvenation) with high-tech beauty equipment from Switzerland. The 24-hour fitness center is equipped with Tainojian equipment. The heated swimming pool features panoramic floor-to-ceiling Windows, allowing you to enjoy the sunrise and sunset over the Huangpu River while swimming. Within a three-kilometer radius, there are scenic spots such as Yu Garden, Lujiazui Financial District and Tianzifang, meeting the needs of cultural exploration and urban leisure.

The hotel was designed by G.A. Design with the concept of "Flowing Light and Colorful Splendor", integrating Shanghai-style cultural symbols with modern trend elements. The exterior facade is outlined with modern lines, while the interior creates a collision of historical charm and futurism through large color blocks of red, orange and blue, reconstruction of Shikumen elements and light and shadow art installations. The 42-storey building houses 374 guest rooms, all equipped with panoramic floor-to-ceiling Windows offering direct views of the Huangpu River and the skyline of Lujiazui. The interior decoration details inspired by the old Shanghai sauce gardens and the bold use of colors interpret the dual charm of "tradition and avant-garde".
