The bustling urban charm and charming tropical scenery

China's Lingnan Pearl focuses on Guangzhou, Guilin and Sanya, which is the essence of southern customs. The "Little Waist" TV tower in Guangzhou points straight to the sky, the scenery of the Li River in Guilin is unparalleled, and the blue sea and silver sand in Yalong Bay, Sanya intoxicates the heart. Here, there is both the prosperity of a millennium old commercial capital and the romance of a tropical seaside.

From the brick carvings and woodcuts of the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall in Guangzhou to the natural wonders of Elephant Trunk Hill in Guilin, from the sea oath mountain alliance at the ends of the earth in Sanya to the exotic charm of Yangshuo West Street, every place shines with the unique light of Lingnan culture. The melodious singing of Cantonese opera, the exquisite Dim sum of morning tea, and the brocade technique of the Li nationality add more regional characteristics.

The exclusive itinerary designed by us can not only climb the Guangzhou Tower to overlook the the Pearl River New City, but also take a bamboo raft to roam the Lijiang River; You can not only taste Guangzhou Dim sum and Chaoshan beef hotpot, but also dive to explore coral reefs in Sanya. Every visit is a perfect interpretation of 'eating in Guangzhou, scenery in Guilin, and playing in Sanya'.

Highlights

  • Guangzhou's dim sum feasts delight.
  • Guilin's Li River bamboo rafts drift.
  • Sanya's Yalong Bay sands shimmer turquoise.
  • Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour lights glitter.
  • Macau's Ruins of St. Paul whisper history.

In Lingnan, China, the five cities are like shining stars. Guangzhou combines morning tea and fireworks with the modern skyline of the Pearl River New Town with the thousand year commercial capital; Hong Kong borrows the charm of the Pearl of the Orient, creating an urban legend through the night scenery of Victoria Harbour and the mysterious islands; Macao draws a picture of the integration of Chinese and Western cultures from the memorial archway and luxury resorts of Sansanba, with Portuguese style as the pen; Sanya, with its tropical paradise, perfectly blends the blue sea, silver sand, rainforest exploration, and high-end vacation; Guilin takes the scenery of the world's top mountains and rivers as its soul, and the Li River Gallery and Karst Peak Forest interpret poetic dwelling. The five cities work together to present a southern feast that interweaves tradition and modernity.

Luxury accommodation in this area

There are many incredible places to stay. Here are some of our favorite campsites and hotels carefully selected by our travel designers:

  • Near by Shamian Island

The hotel building was designed by Lingnan architectural masters such as Mo Bozhi and She 畯 nan. The exterior facade integrates Lingnan elements like arcades and eave walls, while the interior takes the "Hometown Water" waterfall landscape as the core, complemented by Manchu Windows, wood-carved screens and bluestone steps, creating an immersive cultural experience of "a new scene at every step".
  • Near by Canton Tower

As a masterpiece of the design team of the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai, KCA International, the hotel takes inspiration from the art of the prosperous Tang Dynasty and integrates modern Eastern aesthetics with intelligent technology to create an immersive space where "every step reveals a new scene". The lobby has a 9-meter-high ceiling, complemented by giant green plants and guzheng performances. The crystal chandeliers and green plant installations complement each other, creating an elegant atmosphere that transcends time and space. The exterior facade is made of colored glazed glass curtain wall. The guest rooms on the 50th floor and above offer a panoramic view of Zhujiang New Town and the landmark Canton Tower. Some suites are equipped with 270-degree landscape terraces. The duplex LOFT room type adopts a split-level design, combining privacy and a sense of space.
  • Near by Baiyun Mountain

The manor is built along the mountain terrain, with its blue tiles and eaves complementing the lush greenery of the mountains, creating an immersive ecological picture that "draws inspiration from the East and follows nature". It has received over 200 international political leaders and is a top-notch manor complex integrating political socializing, high-end vacations and cultural experiences.
  • Near by Canton Tower

As a luxury brand under the Hilton Group, the hotel's 20-meter-high spiral staircase screen light custom-made by Czech Lasvit has become the artistic focus. It integrates elements of the Lingnan Xiguan grand house - green glass, screens, window decorations and wooden walls - to create an immersive space with "a new scene at every step". The floor-to-ceiling Windows offer a view of the night view of the Pearl River and the city skyline. Especially at night, the lights of Canton Tower and the river view complement each other. Create a unique experience of "cloud view".
  • Near by Canton Tower

As the 37th Park Hyatt hotel in the world and the 6th in China, its exterior facade is as dynamic as a "flying dragon", while the interior interprets the essence of Lingnan architecture with materials such as blue bricks, raw wood, and metal. The 5.5-meter-high conical wood carving art installation in the lobby was created by sculptor Masayoshi Kawamata. The open kitchen and panoramic floor-to-ceiling Windows of the Yuejingxuan Chinese Restaurant on the 68th floor form an immersive experience of "cloud view". The 70th floor open-air bar, with its 270-degree night view of the Pearl River and the landmark view of Canton Tower, has become one of the "tallest rooftop bars in China".
  • Near by Canton Tower

As the first W brand hotel on the Chinese mainland, it was jointly created by design master Yabu Pushelberg and architect Yan Xunqi, with the design language of "future trendy luxury" - the exterior facade integrates self-cleaning terracotta window lattices and traditional Lingnan patterns, and the 20-meter-high lobby space is paired with brown glass screens and LED waterfall water curtains, creating an immersive experience of "one scene at every step". The WOOBAR bar with a suspended bird's nest design, the reflecting water ripple swimming pool logo and the purple theme color run through the entire area, interpreting the core concept of W brand: "Exciting, unique and wonderful".
