Peninsula Beijing Wangfu

Peninsula Beijing Wangfu

The Peninsula Beijing is located at No. 8, Jinyu Hutong, Wangfujing, Dongcheng District. It takes only 15 minutes on foot to reach the Donghua Gate of the Forbidden City. The hotel perfectly blends the historical charm of the old Beijing hutongs with the luxurious style of the Peninsula Hotel. The hotel is a blend of traditional quadrangle courtyards and modern architecture. Its exterior features blue tiles and grey bricks, while the interior is decorated with Baroque domes, agate screens and a Bvlgari spiral staircase, creating a sense of time travel. It retains the "Beijing flavor" while highlighting international luxury, making it a classic landmark at the core of Wangfujing.
The guest rooms are centered around the concept of "home-style luxury". All 230 guest rooms are equipped with smart panels, VOSS mineral water and various hidden sockets. The Beijing suite covers an area of 165 square meters and features an independent living room and study. Some room types offer a panoramic view of the red walls and golden tiles of the Forbidden City. The bathroom is paved with Italian marble, equipped with an independent bathtub and floor heating system, and paired with the Peninsula's exclusive fragrance, creating an immersive bathing experience. The hand-painted decorative painting "The Four Seasons of the Forbidden City" hanging by the bedside and the Beibingyang soda in the mini bar blend the memories of old Beijing with modern luxury in the details.
The one-Michelin-starred French restaurant "Jing" takes French cuisine as its base and integrates elements of Chinese gardens, such as emerald green screens and ink-wash peony decorations. It offers creative dishes like black truffle pasta and 52-degree chilled eggs. The Cantonese restaurant "Huangting" specializes in classic Cantonese dishes such as squab and beef short ribs, paired with traditional delicacies like crab roe and fish pearl soup. The Lobby bar offers the classic afternoon tea of the Peninsula. The desserts, such as the rose strawberry Hazelnut cake, are carved with white chocolate butterfly wings, symbolizing elegance and power, making it a social destination for the city's socialites.
The hotel has specially set up the "Peninsula Pink Ribbon Month" event, collaborating with intangible cultural heritage inheritors to offer handicraft courses such as Cloisonne filigree, and launching pink ribbon-themed afternoon tea and spa treatments. The spa offers "Pink Double Care" treatments, combining traditional Chinese massage with Swiss high-tech equipment. The 24-hour gym is equipped with Tainojian equipment. The heated swimming pool features panoramic floor-to-ceiling Windows, allowing you to enjoy the courtyard view while swimming.
